Curls Just Wana Have Fun!

Hair! Hair! Hair!

I'm a healthy hair enthusiast and a product junkie. I know that the internet famous hair gurus tell you that's a bad thing but how are you gonna know what works best for you without trying things out? What i do recommend is that instead of going out and buying the full size of something, get the travel size version to save your money in case your hair doesn't like it. You can also split the cost with a friend or family member so you both can try it and Target and Walgreen's sells smaller bottles of popular natural hair care products such as SheaMoister and Asiam for under five dollars. Ulta is a good place to find travel sized hair care products to try out. I personally love to try new beauty products, it makes me happy.

My hair is texlaxed. Being relaxed murdered my strands and being natural didn't fit my lifestyle so i found a happy medium! Naturally my hair is a mix of 3b,3c and 4a. When my hair is texlaxed I call it modified 3b and 3c. I started my natural hair journey by accident when I went for the short hair look my senior year of high school in 2012. When I got to college I didn't have any one to perm my hair anymore so I just put a leave in it and left it alone. I also bleached my hair that summer and it turned orange. After a couple months of my hair being neglected and the leave out being severely damaged i did the big chop. I wasn't feeling the TWA look so i wore a full weave for the rest of the school year. In May 2013, I was all natural so i started experimenting with natural hair regiments and that was when my healthy hair journey really started. My hair was about 6 inches long but it liked to shrink in its natural state so I let it be free in a fro all summer. When school started i decided to self-lax my hair because being natural was too time consuming for me. I didn't leave the perm in long and I coated my hair with olive oil and my hair was texlaxed. I didn't lnow at the time that texlaxing was a thing. I thought I discovered it first but no there is a texlaxed community out there. Now my hair is shoulder blade length and is inching towards the bras strap. My goal is to have a full head of mid-back length hair!
